They came along to swim in Saud, but they got a better deal. They bumped into a friend, who was manning the Tattoo de Iloco booth. In no time, they each had a skimboard.
Because they are not really strangers to this water sports, it was pretty easy for them to jump on the boards and make a quick glide across the shallow waters close to the shore — the thing that makes skimboarding different from surfing.

Kapuluan Vista Resort, Sitio Banniaran, Balaoi, Pagudpud
Pagudpud is one of the best beach destinations in the Philippines. There’s Saud and Malingay Coves, both white sand beaches with crystal-clear blue waters. Surfers have to check out the point breaks right across the Kapuluan Vista Resort.

Don’t forget the camera! There are nifty cameras out in the market today. If you want instant photos, Fuji has brought back Polaroid-like cameras with the Instax and the Instax Mini. There’s also the Polaroid PoGo, a full-featured digital cam with integrated printer. If you want moderately-priced waterproof cams, either the Canon D10 or the Lumix TS1 look tough. I’ve tried disposable underwater cameras before. Kodak Max Sport produces great results. There’s also the Fujifilm Quick Snap Waterproof. If you want professional looking photos, I recommend a Nikon D90 which I’ve been using for almost 2 years now. I’m not a pro photographer, but, at least, it makes me look like one. When I need to be close to the water, I just put my D90 inside a DICAPac Waterproof SLR Case. It amazingly protects my cam while taking cool photos with vignetting like effects.
