A craving for a hot bowl of Chinese kiamchay (pickled mustard leaves) noodle soup led me once again to Tasty Dumplings. A perfect breakfast food, especially after a long, tiresome trip from Laoag.
My sister-in-law offered her fried dumplings and silver bread roll, a fried bread similar to mantau. The crusty soft bread complemented the savory vegetable soup. Mnnn, comforting! I had nice, palate-cleansing wintermelon juice after. I’ve never had breakfast this good.
I’ve been missing out on life; I seldom eat breakfast because I stay up late blogging into the wee hours of the morning. It reminds me to start the day right with zesty food. Like warming up the car engine:)
Bought this on our way back to the apartment.
