The little girl knows exactly what she wants for her 8th birthday — a new haircut from Larry of the David’s Salon in Robinsons Ilocos Norte. Who could say no to darling sunshine?

The bundle of sweetness has grown a lot bigger *sigh*

Happy Hair!

I needed a photo of my newly cut hair, so I tagged along with Ericke and friends to the La Paz sand dunes late this afternoon.  Brandon took us to a peak, where we caught Eugene sandboarding with his skater friends. The sun was goin’ down fast and the wind was uncooperative, no chance my hair could look as good as Emma Watson’s! I tried to position myself behind the Land Cruiser. Hair’s still blowing in the breeze, what the heck! Nonetheless, happy ’bout the photos Eugene took even if the natural lighting highlighted every grey strand. Having majored in Media Arts in secondary school, he always makes me look better. Thanks, Euge!

Conventionally, my next paragraph should be on top, but I want my photos up there, so I hope it doesn’t matter to you. Okay, just a few hours before our scheduled trip back to Laoag, I spotted a Bench Fix Lab in Glorietta 4, beside the Ascott, where we stayed for a Havaianas event. I thought I needed a lift and for the reason that I adore Bench Fix Professional Hairlastic, an amazing hair product I’ve been using forever, not to mention Fix Salons’ Head Creative Director is sought-after hairstylist Alex Carbonell,  who cut my hair a few times when he was still at Propaganda, without thinking twice, I went in and asked for anyone who understands short hair. The girl at the reception counter gave me Senior Stylist Cathy Terenio. Forasmuch as  I know how to cut hair, I was a kinda scared, but that’s always the case when I try out a new stylist. A good sign, she was light and easy while we talked about what I wanted. The cut itself took only ’bout 10 minutes. I liked how it looked, thank God! However, a good haircut doesn’t stop there. I have to shampoo my hair with my own Johnson’s baby shampoo, and then dry my hair facing an electric fan at full speed while fluffing it up in a certain way. Mirror, mirror on the wall. Yay, happy hair! Thanks, Cathy!
