5 reasons to love Razon’s halo-halo

My latest intimate moment with Razon’s at the Greenbelt 1

It was love at first taste at the original Razon’s in Guagua, Pamgpanga. I can’t remember the exact year, but I do remember it wasn’t all that easy to find the insider secret to one of the best halo-halos in the land. They were right!

A sweet success story, Razon’s has expanded its wings over the neighboring cities and the Southern Philippines. Keeping the legacy alive are the third generation Razons.

Why I love Razon’s halo-halo:

  1. Neither kaong nor nata de coco in it, only sweetened saba, macapuno strips and generous slivers of creamy leche flan with a hint of dayap.
  2. It’s got finely shaved ice and just the right amount of Carnation evaporated milk.
  3. It’s got no ice cream topping.
  4. It’s under Php100.
  5. It’s not available in Ilocos Norte just yet. Isn’t a long distance love affair sweeter?
