Share Tea one drink a day challenge: QQ happy family milk tea

QQ Happy Family Milk Tea

The day was awesome, albeit a slight drizzle. Awesome as in QQ, a Chinese slang for cool — it’s just a wild guess actually.  On our way to Share Tea, I photographed a most frustratingly serene Padsan River in glowing yellow tones…

Good Evening Laoag!

Such fleeting moments…

Padsan River at Sunset

Savoring my QQ Happy Family Milk Tea when former co-workers at the Provincial Capitol, Toni and BJ, breezed in. Toni’s Kenji was with them, and he willingly took this souvenir “family” picture of us. We are like the QQ drink, which is a mishmash of grass jelly, boba pearls, pudding, red beans, ice jelly, lychee de coco and what not:)

With all the starchy and gelatinous stuff in there, the QQ Happy Family Milk Tea is surprisingly bracing, devoid of unpleasant cloying sweetness. The black tea doesn’t overwhelm, and it’s the fruity essence of lychee that lingers in a delightful way. No need for sugarcoating, QQ as it is!

Share Tea one drink a day challenge: Green tea ice cream float

Green Tea Ice Cream Float

Size counts. The dollop of ice cream thrown in this Share Tea green tea is just the perfect match for the firm, penetrating character of Share Tea’s green tea brew. No sugar recommended for the happy union.

I hear mixed reactions about the QQ happy family milk tea. I’m intrigued, it’s my next challenge.

I’m missing the outdoors:( I hope we get lots of sunshine this week.  A peppy week ahead to all.
