The sun endearingly lit up our Sunday roadtrip to the bucolic little town named Adams nestled in the northern end of the Cordillera Mountain Range. Yes, with a sigh of relief, there’s still such a sylvan habitat in Ilocos, and my homies immersed in the quiet elegance of nature. Peace on earth!
The only public transport in Adams.
Silong diay Adams. Red mountain rice is enough only for local consumption.
Lola Dominga Acupan gifts me with her famous Adams tapuey, and bugnay wine.
One of the homestays in Adams. It is like a mini resort complete with a tilapia farm and koi fish breeding pond.
The Lenie, master cook in Adams, with husband Daniel. Not to miss is an indigenous lunch by the river, awesome local fare!
Taro (bilagot) in coconut milk.
