Summer Skin

Kiele

Summer means the great outdoors, sun basking and uncomfortable skin. But for the latter, I’ve found great natural fixes like Kiele anti-mosquito baby cologne with Citronella and natural French oils (this one smells fresh, light and nice, reminiscent of your favorite teenage colognes), and Kiele Cibelli alcohol-free skin freshener and cologne in one that refreshes and rehydrates thirsty skin. For such pleasurable eco-friendly products, they are very affordable. Got mine from the souvenir corner at Cafe Bonita. Brandon bought a Cibelli too.

KieleLather Goods

And Marianne Pasion delivered my order from Lather Goods. Among their freshly made creations, I picked Lemongrass and their new Milk and Oats WITH HONEY. I liked my first Milk and Oats (here) because it scrubs as well, but Marianne said the new one with honey is even better, so it made my list. As we all know, honey is a wonder ingredient. I also tried her favorite nourishing and brightening lemongrass. The plus factor is lemongrass is known to be antimicrobial, so it helps keep clean during hot, humid days. I still have to try it out, but I love anything lemongrass.

To keep my skin in top shape this summer, especially that I live in shorts, I added the Citrus Green Tea Whitening Body Scrub. I know the word whitening is scary (hahah!) No worries, this one has natural AHA that exfoliates, therefore brightens, and the antioxidant green tea promotes cell renewal. (Lather Goods can be ordered at Lather Goods on Facebook and @lathergoodsph on Instagram) My sunblock of choice is Nivea SUN Whitening Lotion SPF 50, btw.

Happy summer! Don’t forget the floppy hat and sunnies!
