The local scene is turning glocal. Straight from the future — at a UNESCO, City Government of Laoag and Northwestern University collaboration of an anticipatory thinking and strategic foresight forum-workshop — I went to Brazil for the Make Your Own Havaianas event of the year at the Robinsons Ilocos Norte. If these are signs of a brighter future, then the Bonfim print wishes for each and every holder of the Havaianas commemmorative pair should come true.
My fellow workshoppers from the Cagayan Valley Region dropped by the MYOH 2014 area.
Beautiful friends Me-Ann, Ann, Teenie and Marianne were all there.
I gave my chance to own a commemorative pair to Alexa.
Michael and I made Brazilian icon Carmen Miranda flip-flops for Raine who is semi-globetrotting these days. In my head, I wish her sunshine.
Marianne Pasion covers the event up to Sunday with Glenn Tumaneng.
Go enjoy the Brazilian celebration of colors!
