Manila Chinatown Photo Walk

Fruits in Chinatown

Some say The Manila Chinatown pales in comparison to other Chinatowns all over the world. Well, to me, Binondo is that Butse Kik song of Yoyoy Villame — amusing,  provocative, rocking, inexplicable, right on likable, aminin! That hybridized funkiness, the details are so like the bobochichangs and chi chi ri kong koilas that put a smile to the face!

It is so full of diversity. You don’t need to be Chinese to be able to fully appreciate the hidden history around the oldest Chinatown in the world.
