Pink lipsticks look good in the tube, but pink can be such a challenging color to wear. It can’t be too blue, too beige nor too neon. Back in college, my brother picked at my mauve lips and I stayed away from pinks until less severe pinks came out in the market. Below are some of the light to medium pink lipsticks I own. Pinks like Schiap pink are another story.
Bought MAC Pink Pearl Pop on a whim. I didn’t read it’s a pearly mid-pink with slight frost. The cremesheen formula is rather thin, but glides without trouble, so you can build the opacity. After 3 coats, I still was not convinced with the evenness. It’s a pretty pink, but would rather have the hue in a different formulation.
Pink Pearl Pop is the gossamer version of the neonesque MAC Viva Glam Nicki.
A pop of pink. I like wearing light lips with dramatic eyes and bright lips with barely there eyes. Till the next lippie review.
