Got an “ardyudera” pasalubong from my friend Ann. “Ardyud” is the only Ilocano word I know that is equivalent to “kikay” or vain.
MAC is accurate when it describes Brick-O-La as a mid-tone berry. There’s a hint of terracotta into it which I expected to be more intense. And some red like burnt rose that is easy for daytime wear. Not faddish nor loud, it’s an expensive shade of delicious berries.
The Amplified Creme texture makes it plushy on the lips. It stayed on after a couple of hours, and after a wholehearted lunch, I was surprised it left me with a good stain. Wore it here. In the evening, without retouch, my lips were still nicely tinged in photos.
Topped it with Etude House Dear Darling Roll Roll Gloss in clear here.
