From the Philippine Islands — A Merry White Christmas

White Christmas... more fun in the Philippinesimage via DOT

White Sands

In my beloved Ilocos, the sands in Pagudpud lend an air of a beachy white Christmas. Merry Christmas, everyone!

Leehua, some friends and I did the honors of warming the first cabana of THE CABANAS, the brand-new place to stay in Sitio Banniaran near the Blue Lagoon area. A loft makes it possible to comfortably accommodate up to 8 people.  Breakfast was fine; clean roomy spaces and amenities such as flat screen TV, air-conditioning, hot/cold shower, loads of soft pillows, warm fleece blankets, firm mattresses and thick white towels made our stay cushy and warm. (Contact Espie or Geralyn for bookings at thus number: 0919 387 7528.)

  1. Is there a website or an email address I can try and contact The Cabanas. I’m “shopping” around on places to stay for couple nights in Pagudpud. Not feasible for me to call them from the States. Looks like a good option to stay.

Merry Christmas to you and your family!

    • the place is so new. i’ll try to ask for the number of the owners who are Cali-based. I don’t think they’ve set up a website at this time. so sorry I wasn’t able to make the list yet hibell77. was pretty busy. happy holidays to you and yours.
