Went up to Benguet for Brandon’s second national mt. bike downhill race in Mount Sto. Tomas, Tuba. He had all of Saturday for his practice — a good reason, though, for being late to explore the BenCab Museum.
I read that the museum is a project of the BenCab Art Foundation, a supporter of the arts and environment, co-founded by National Artist of the Philippines for Visual Arts (Painting) Benedicto Cabrera better known as BenCab; BenCab’s partner Annie Sarthou; BBC presenter/artist Rico Hizon; multi-awarded historian Ambeth Ocampo; architect Bobby Gopiao; Patricia Coseteng and Jeffrey Co.
Besides the arts, there’s more to love about the BenCab Museum. It houses Café Sabel, an aviary, an organic farm and garden. Wishin’ to be there again soon.
