Next to our brief visit in Adams, Leehua took us to Aplaya Ortega, owned by Nathan Ortega. A very familiar place. I was there on Earth Day 2009 and took a sweet photo of the beach (Pasaleng Bay), in fact one of my favorites which I posted during my early blogging days. It’s a splendid spot for soul-searching in between verdant mountains and the bluest sea. We took a stroll to the man-made lagoon fringed by palm trees.
A SWEET BlauEarth moment indeed.
Hello fish!! Prices of seafood at Gao-oa have gone dramatically low from Holy Week’s:)

Hi. My friends and I are considering to stay in a resort in Pasaleng Bay. But we want to know first how far is Pasaleng from Saud Beach and Maira-ira. Do you know if it’s possible to walk from Pasaleng to Saud and Maira-ira? How long does the walk will take? We would also like to see those white sand beaches 🙂
Thank you for all your blogs, I got plenty of useful information for our trip in Ilocos 🙂
Pasaleng is a bit far from Maira-ira. You have to choose a base. It would be more convenient to take a tricycle from one point to the next.
I see. Thanks for the info. But it is not too far, right? I mean just minutes tricycle ride? And Maira-ira is just walking distance to Saud?
you should also take a tricycle to and from Maira-ira.
Thanks for the info. It’s really hard to make itinerary and to decide where to stay when we only have limited info, good thing there are people like you willing to share information. I still have so many questions but I don’t want to flood your blog with unrelated posts. Thanks again. 🙂
it’s okay. the intention of the blog is to help anyway.
