All the blah-blah in relation to the best ube jam made in Baguio is never ending. Is it Good Shepherd’s lovely, smooth and silky lilac or is it Tantamco’s purple with a bit of texture? I say it all depends on what you get as pasalubong. To savor this sweet purple yam, spoon out a chunk from the bottle and that’s eat.

I love Yam! Can you tell me more about this Ubeng-Ube jam? What do you eat it with besides on its own?
hi! also as bread spread or mix it in halo-halo (slush) https://blauearth.com/2011/09/10/a-tale-of-two-halo-halos/.
grated yam (ube) can also be used as a flavor for ice cream, cakes and rolls, puto, biko (sticky rice cake) and halaya with a thicker consistency.
Thanks for the info!..would want to try this…
