Typhoon Mina was heading towards Northern Philippines while some friends, my love and I were en route to Central Philippines – Puerto Princesa City – in the largest province of the Philippines, Palawan, known as “Last Frontier” for its mega diversity.Beaming with pride at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 2 as I look towards the huge photo of paradisiacal Pagudpud, a part of my home province.
The trip from Laoag was wet and long. Grabbed a cup of coffee and a decent sandwich at CafeFrance, formerly Delifrance.
Boarding time was several minutes early. The full Philippine Airlines Airbus 340 took off on time amidst drizzle in Manila. Yehey, the sun’s up in Palawan! Stoked to explore its world-class beauty. Lucky Palaweños for a tyhoon-free home (except for the northernmost part).
