Tuguegarao City is a haven for good budget food. Another one of our favored stops is Maria’s Chicken Inasal housed in the Jam Abiel Plaza on Buntun Highway in Ugac Sur. I had the 55-peso barbecue meal, real barbecue and not Bacolod-style inasal. It was tasty and tender. The pork chop inasal I had some months ago didn’t disappoint, as well. Maria’s obviously knows the art of marinating.
“How was your inasal?” “Good and not dry, unlike the overrated inasal by a food chain,” replied the other.
Hi,
I am from Tuguegarao and I was thrilled to find this review about Maria’s Inasal. I know the owners too so I will send a link to them.
I was reading along your posts and gosh I feel so at home… with binalay… and the pancit. I also had featured batil patung in my post already. But will feature binalay soon.
Thank you for featuring places and food unknown to many…
