I want my own Eraserheads Limited Edition CD Set

The peace and quiet of the Ilocano abode of Ona of my sisterhood was interrupted on Saturday evening by a LEAD Movement brainstorming round with honorary member Lester Susi. The reward for the mental workout and oral bouts was a sampling of Ona’s creative cooking, as usual. The guys had a round of beer, while I went for her sausage and basil pasta and Ilocano longaniza burrito. She told me about Akira’s priceless tin box from his dad, former Eraserheads lead guitarist Marcus Adoro, and showed me her own Eheads limited edition box that she availed through the ongoing Greenwich promo. Upon seeing the contents, 10 Eheads albums and EP’s, an unpublished documentary DVD by Marcus, a book and a little black Eheads tee (perhaps, also by Team Manila), I just had to own one too. I belong to the Eheads fanatics who are still wishing for a grand reconciliation. It was the melodramatic Ang Huling El Bimbo that got me hooked on their music. Don’t you get transported back to your youth listening to Ligaya, Fruitcake, Pare Ko, Alapaap, Harana, Magazine, Overdrive, With A Smile, Toyang, Torpedo, ahh, and so much more? Even Ericke and Eugene are excited to, hahah, burn my CD’s.

I learned that Ona did backup for Fruitcake. In the book, mother and son were acknowledged in Fruitcake.

I can’t wait for my last Greenwich sticker. I heard, only over 5000 CD sets were made. Greenwich Pizza overload!
